Performance spaces often exceed the boundaries of proscenium arch theaters, manifesting in all kinds of environments.
The common factor that identifies designers is communication with people. We take command of all visual and sensory aspects of a production, whether that is in a field, on a stage or on screen. We do this through mediums such as costume, lighting and location. Since the nature of our work is collaborative, we develop ways to express our ideas to further discussion.
This exhibition displays the breadth of design, which is driving live performance in to new territory.
