Set Design for Stage and Screen is about creating visual interpretations: designing innovative three-dimensional spaces for film, television, theatre and other media. Our course is organised to support the balance between the development of our practical skills and our visions as young designers. Over the three years we have individually developed our own style and approach to design through experimenting with different processes and mediums. Practising specialist skills such as conceptual art, storyboarding, technical drawing and model making are key to expressing our ideas and deepening our understanding of the art of visual story telling.
